Can I take my child out of school on holiday during term time?

From September 2013 there have been amendments to the Department for Education 2006 Regulations which states that head teachers may not grant any leave of absence during term time unless there are exceptional circumstances.

This means no holiday requests will be authorised during term time.

How much is a school meal?

A school meal is £2.10 per day or £10.50 for the week. We ask that this is sent to school Monday morning in an envelope with your child's name, class and amount on and taken to their class to be put in the class register box. Please note that no money will be taken at the school office. Payment can also be made in advance.

Who do I make cheques payable to for school lunches?

Cheques for school meals are payable to St Joseph's Catholic Primary School. School money now collect payments for breakfast club and lunches via school money, please refer to the office for further information.

Where can I purchase school uniform?

School uniform (with the school logo) can be obtained from Pinders in Rotherham. Uniforms without the school logo can be purchased from most supermarkets and chain stores.

How do I register for Breakfast Club?

please ring the school office to book a place at least 24 hours before, alternatively you can block book, after 8:30 it is £1.00. Breakfast club is run from 7.45 am each day and is £2.50 and £10 per week. We ask that payment is made on a Monday morning for the days required.

My child is under 5 and eligible for school milk, what do I do?

A milk form will be sent home each half term for you to sign that your child can have free milk. You child can have this until their 5th birthday. After this date you child can still have milk but will be charge 22p per day.

I can't collect my child at hometime and wish to send someone else?

Please call school before 3pm and advise staff who will be collecting your child. If we are not made aware we will not let your child leave school without speaking to you for confirmation. This is in the interest of safety to your child.
