Mental Wellbeing

Rawmarsh St Joseph's are proud to be a part of With Me In Mind, one of the national Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) and there are teams based in both Rotherham and Doncaster. Their service focuses on early prevention and intervention; ensuring children and young people, their families/ carers are able to access appropriate support to improve and maintain positive emotional wellbeing, to expand and widen positive self-esteem and to increase their self-efficacy in order to create resilience.

In school, we have two new Mental Wellbeing Ambassadors; Ashley and Alfie, who are taking on the role of working with With Me In Mind and spreading the message of looking after our mental health. 

In July, they attended the first Welcome event at Magna where they met other Ambassadors from the Local Area and they are very keen to get going with their work.
