We are delighted to offer our new Wraparound Care provision, providing families with high-quality childcare before and after the school day. Available every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, children can attend from 7:45am before school and remain until 5:45pm after school, offering up to 10 hours of childcare in line with the Government's ambition to expand wraparound childcare for working families. The provision offers a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children can enjoy a range of activities, helping to support parents and carers with flexible childcare while ensuring children have a positive start and end to their school day.

Parents and carers can conveniently book places for their child through the School Gateway system. The breakfast session is available for £2.50 per day, while the after-school session costs £6.00 per day. During the morning session, children can enjoy a nutritious breakfast with a choice of cereal, toast, yoghurt and fresh fruit. In the after-school session, children are provided with a selection of healthy snacks as well as a light evening meal. Activities within our Wraparound Care provision are carefully planned to be child-led, flexible and engaging, giving children the opportunity to shape their own learning and play experiences. Children are encouraged to suggest ideas and work together on projects that reflect their interests and curiosity. Recent projects have included developing and enhancing the school's growing patch, where children have planted flowers and vegetables while learning about nature and sustainability. Inspired by the recent Artemis II mission, children also explored space through a range of creative and STEM-based activities, designing and building their own rockets, learning about space exploration and working collaboratively to solve challenges. This child-initiated approach helps to develop confidence, creativity, teamwork and a love of learning in a fun and relaxed environment.
