Friday 29th April 2022 - Year 4 The garden is growing!
Y4, Mrs Moorehead and 4 parents did a fantastic job in the St Joseph's garden.
Lots of vegetables have started growing now, so we covered them with netting to protect them. Lots of weeding, cleaning, sorting and watering happened. We even planted more veg and fruit. We prepared the pots for some beautiful flowers too!
Thursday 7th April 2022 - Surreal Art
This term we have been focussing on Surreal Art.
We have practiced lots of different art skills
such as stippling, cross hatching, pressure, scale and perspective. We have explored the surreal artwork of Salvador Dali and other surreal artists. Today, the children created their own artwork inspired by surrealism and Salvador Dali! They are so good!
Friday 1st April 2022 - Year 4 Love Gardening!
Y4 and Mrs Moorehead have taken over the St Joseph's garden. We have cleared, weeded and got the space ready for lots of new exciting flowers, fruit and vegetables! Watch this space!

Today we used dienes to help our understanding of Place Value.
Friday 3rd March 2022 - World Book Day!
We had such as fun day exploring our love of books!
Friday 11th February 2022 - Children's Mental Health Awareness Day
We did lots of talking today. We also completed mindfulness work, listened to stories and did calming yoga in Forest School.
Friday 14th January 2022 - Roman Roads
This term we are learning about Romans and their impact on Britain. We have been looking at how and why Roman roads were made. We decided to have the children make their own Roman Road in a jar. The children worked in teams to layer their jar. Don't they look great!
