Buddhism Day

We welcomed the Buddhism Hindu Service to St Joseph's to help celebrate our inter faith fortnight. The children learned all about Buddha and his life. We also learned about the Buddhist holy book - The Tipitaka, how Buddhists pray, religious celebrations and the key principles of Buddhism.

We enjoyed a fascinating assembly, lots of dressing up, exploring artefacts and learning through story, first hand experience and role play. What a fantastic day!
